November 2025:
Progress continues on the new Chapel View Health Care Center in Hopkins, MN, where CBS Construction remains on track for a Fall 2026 substantial completion. The team has maintained steady momentum moving into late 2025, with several major milestones underway.
Current Progress
As of November, construction efforts have focused on structure, framing, and preparation for upper-level work. Key activities currently in progress include:
- First-floor wall installation – 60% Complete
Installation continues to advance from west to east as the building’s main-level structure takes shape. - Exterior sheathing – 20% Complete
Initial sheathing installation has begun, providing early enclosure and supporting future weatherproofing. - Second-floor concrete pour – 20% Complete
- Work is underway to prep and pour the second-floor slab, a prerequisite for upper-level wall installation and future roof work.
What’s Next
Over the coming weeks and months, the project will move into several critical phases:
- Second-floor wall installation: Wall panels for the upper level are already staged onsite and will be set shortly after the concrete pour is completed.
- Roof framing: As second-floor walls progress from west to east, roof framing will begin in sequence.
- Roof and membrane installation: One of the project’s primary critical-path items, the full roof system is scheduled for installation in early 2026.
On Schedule for Fall 2026
CBS Construction continues to track on schedule with no shifts to the anticipated completion timeline. The strong coordination between teams and proactive planning around weather and material readiness have kept the project advancing smoothly.
We look forward to sharing continued progress as Chapel View moves toward a revitalized, modern care environment for residents and the greater Hopkins community.
