June 2025:
After years of planning, Cassia officially broke ground on the new Chapel View Care Center in May 2025. While weather challenges slowed progress at first, construction is now in full swing. Cassia plans to have the building completed and ready for occupancy in late 2026.
Chapel View Care Center Now
For more than 50 years, the existing 108-bed care center has served older adults in the Hopkins area. Its poor design requires the use of an elevator, stairways and long ramps to navigate the building; making daily life harder for residents, staff and families.
Chapel View Care Center in the Future
Its replacement will have 88 beds, including 80 private rooms, with private toilet rooms and roll-in showers.
Other benefits of the new building will include all amenities on a level floor; large, centrally located dining rooms; outdoor courtyards; centralized nursing stations and private offices; centralized therapy and community space and more.
